Description
Arctic Tiger AT-2515 Desoldering Wick is 2.5mm wide & 1.5 meter long. This tin absorbing wire is made of pure copper and chemicals, with strong tin absorbing ability. A good spool of solder wick can save you a lot of time. It is used to absorb excess solder when removing tin. It is resistant to oxidation and corrosion, has good thermal conductivity and tinning effect, and can absorb tin cleanly.
In desoldering, after the chip is removed, there will still be a large amount of solder on the circuit board, which will affect the soldering of the chip.
Usually use tin suction tape to clean. The method is to put the soldering iron on the tin suction tape and then move it slowly on the chip pad. When the solder melts, it will be sucked up by the tin suction tape, and the tin between the feet will be sucked, so the cleaning is easy. The printing plate is clean. Afterwards, wash the position of the chip on the board with board washing water. Solder strips can be used for larger patch components! In the tin removal tool, the tin absorber can be used for general aluminum electrolytic capacitors, and the tin absorber can be used for relatively large SMD components. No-cleaning, cut off the sucked section after each use and reuse it.
Note: In order to avoid burns, please hold the shell or use tweezers and other tools to grasp it, please do not directly touch the tin suction line during use.
The use of desoldering braids significantly reduce rework/repair time and minimize the risk of heat damage It is a Type R flux braid that is fast, safe, noncorrosive, and leaves no ionic contamination. This braid is noncorrosive, halide-free, and organic. Our design allows maximum solder capacity and optimizes heat transfer. Braids leave little or no flux residue, shortening or completely eliminating cleaning time.
